What is a website account

A website account is the one you register on soarclient.net with an email address. It is separate from your Minecraft account: the website account handles things on the site and in the cloud, and the Minecraft account is what gets you into the game.

What an account can do

• Manage your own capes (uploading custom capes requires sponsorship)
• Publish and favorite profiles, and keep private backups
• Have your own player profile showing your skin, cape, configs and activity
• Get a sponsor badge and the matching perks after sponsoring

Capes, the player profile and sponsorship perks all need the website account to be linked to Minecraft first.

Getting started

1. Register and sign in: verify your email, then set a password.
2. Link Minecraft: generate a link code on the website and confirm it in game.
3. Secure the account: add a Passkey and check the devices you have signed in on.
4. Privacy and preferences: decide what your player profile shows, plus appearance and language.

Note

If you only want to play, you do not need a website account. A Microsoft or offline account is enough to get into the game; see First launch.
