Modules and HUD

Modules are the core of SoarClient. Each one does a single thing: show FPS, count CPS, show keystrokes… turn on what you need.

On the Modules page of the menu, category tabs run along the top:

CategoryWhat is in it
AllEvery module
PlayerAnything about controls and view, such as freelook, bow zoom and FOV changes
RenderVisual effects, such as clear glass, kill effects and crosshair
InterfaceOn-screen information (HUD), such as coordinates, CPS display and keystrokes
WorldWorld related, such as waypoints, weather and time
HypixelFeatures made for the Hypixel server
OtherEverything else, such as chat translation, FPS boost and FPS limiter

If you know the name, press Ctrl + F and type it into the search box. It is faster than browsing categories.

  • Click a module card: turns that module on or off.
  • Click the gear on the right of the card: opens the module’s settings, where you can change what it shows, its color and its size. Only modules with settings have a gear.
  • On a settings page, click Back at the top left to return to the list, or Reset at the top right to restore that module’s defaults.

Interface modules (such as keystrokes and coordinates) appear on screen, and you can put them wherever you like.

  1. Open the menu and click the button at the very bottom of the left icon column to enter HUD edit mode. The screen blurs and crosshair guide lines appear in the middle.
  2. Hold the left button and drag an element to where you want it. It snaps to the screen’s center lines and to the edges of other elements when it gets close.
  3. Scroll the mouse wheel to scale the element under the cursor (0.1× per notch). Click the wheel to restore its original size.
  4. For exact placement without snapping, hold the right button while dragging.
  5. Press Esc to go back to the menu. Positions are saved automatically.

Edit mode only lets you place modules that are already on, so switch on the ones you want on the Modules page first.

Settings → Appearance → HUD theme changes the style of every HUD element at once, so you do not adjust them one by one. See Appearance and themes.

A full set of module settings and HUD layout can be saved as a profile, and you can use ones other players have shared.
